da pixbet： With much of the impetus being on sticking with what they’ve got this summer, no new faces for the senior squad have arrived at Liverpool since they became champions of Europe for a sixth time.
Jurgen Klopp is said to be happy with his squad, and will only delve into the market if there is a situational change with his existing players.
As a result, only one player has been signed – 17-year-old centre-back Sepp van den Berg.
Fulham wonderkid Harvey Elliott is also expected to join the Reds, and you could argue that the pair are extremely exciting players to keep an eye on in future.
But there are more.
Let’s take a look at the Merseysiders’ rich crop of young talent who could form an XI together in years to come.
Goalkeeper – Caoimhin Kelleher
The young Irishman is very highly-rated at Anfield, especially by boss Jurgen Klopp.
The German said: “He is an outstanding talent. Outstanding.
“[He is] very cool with the ball, you saw that in pre-season when he played in front of 100,000 people, that he wasn’t bothered about that which is a very important skill to have.”
Kelleher may not get many chances with Alisson and Simon Mignolet in front of him, but he’s certainly one for the future.
Left-back – Adam Lewis
The young left-back could even be involved in the Reds’ first-team this season after Alberto Moreno left, and Klopp definitely likes him, having included him in the squad for the warm weather camp in Marbella earlier this year.
Lewis signed a new deal in February and is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Centre-back – Sepp van den Berg
As aforesaid, the Dutchman is Liverpool’s one and only signing this summer, but the manner in which they secured him suggests van den Berg has a bright future.
The Reds had to fend off interest from Bayern Munich and Ajax for the defender’s signature – he could be a star of the next generation.
Centre-back – Ki-Jana Hoever
Snatched from Ajax’s famed academy, Ki-Jana Hoever has already become the third-youngest ever player to appear for Liverpool after he played against Wolves in the FA Cup at just 16 years and 354 days old.
The defender also won the Under-17 European Championship with Holland this year – the teenager has a seriously bright future in the game.
Right-back – Trent Alexander-Arnold
Do we even need to write anything?
The 20-year-old is already a Champions League winner and has appeared for his country at a World Cup, whilst he also broke the Premier League record for the number of assists from a defender, having amassed 12 last term.
He should be in the Liverpool first-team for years to come.
Central midfield – Herbie Kane
Kane spent last season on loan with Doncaster, and is known as a “lively” player in the middle of the park who has a decent long shot on him.
The 20-year-old may well be due for a first-team appearance if he keeps impressing whilst out on loan.
Central midfield – Curtis Jones
“He is a tall boy but still very mobile, good at dribbling and stuff like that, but now we need to make sure he finds the right moment to pass the ball,” said Klopp last summer when asked about Jones.
The talented central midfield star impressed in pre-season last year, and if he does so again this summer, who knows what the future holds for him?
Left-wing – Bobby Duncan
The cousin of Steven Gerrard, Duncan has already wowed those who follow Liverpool’s youth teams having smashed in 25 goals in 36 games last season.
His long-range screamer in the FA Youth Cup final helped the Reds overcome Manchester City, and if he keeps up his form there is no reason why Klopp won’t take a shine to him.
Right-wing – Harvey Elliott
The Fulham wonderkid hasn’t officially signed yet, but Liverpool have reportedly beat the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to his services.
Elliott is the Premier League’s youngest-ever player, having appeared for the Cottagers against Wolves back in May at the age of 16 years and 30 days, and looks to be a serious talent.
Striker – Paul Glatzel
Alongside Duncan in the Under-18 side, Glatzel was also no stranger in finding the back of the net.
The German scored 21 goals in 30 games. He is a powerful young striker who seems to be a traditional No.9.
Striker – Rhian Brewster
Like Alexander-Arnold, many of you will already be aware of Brewster’s talents.
He was heavily involved behind the scenes with the first-team squad in the latter stages of the Champions League, and Klopp really seems to be placing his trust in the teenager ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
