da jogodeouro: Peter Storrie has hinted that he may still be at FA Cup finalists Portsmouth next season.
da fezbet: The 57-year-old was blamed for taking Pompey into massive debt and ultimately administration before resigning as chief executive in February and becoming a consultant at Fratton Park.
However, he has not given up hope of being reappointed by any consortium that eventually takes over the club.
He said:"I love the game and you never know what the new owners will want to do. I enjoy the football side of things – it may be here or at another club.
"The FA Cup final could be my last game, but I'll definitely be involved until June. All I've ever tried to do is give my all for the club.
"I'll always be known as the chief executive of the first Premier League club to go into administration and that's very unfair, but that's the football world.
"The club was run by individuals and they dictate what they want to do. I had to implement that and, because I was the focal point of the club, I received the criticism.
"I accept the criticism, but a lot of it is down to ignorance, and I feel very sad it's ended the way it has. I understand there'll be a lot of people saying good riddance."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
